Operational insight

Operational insight connects an operator’s question to records from across a mission and fleet. Agents formulate database queries, retrieve relevant sources, analyze patterns, and generate reports. Telemetry monitoring adds anomaly detection and incident classification, while cross-operation trends support investigation, maintenance planning, and operational advisories.

How it connects

  1. Ask a question
  2. Formulate queries
  3. Retrieve sources
  4. Analyze patterns
  5. Trace the evidence
  6. Generate a report

Start with a question

An operator asks a question in plain language. Agents interpret its intent, write and execute database queries, and present the results with visualizations. Retrieval spans telemetry, events, sensors, mission reports, maintenance records, weather, and media. The workflow then moves through pattern analysis and reasoning to report generation, connecting the question to information across those sources.

Trace events through their evidence

Root-cause investigation follows connections from an anomaly through telemetry, sensor logs, environmental conditions, and maintenance records. The output is a structured evidence chain that supports reasoning about an event. Cross-system correlation adds a broader view, examining degradation curves, weather-related events, and fleet-wide trends across operations rather than treating each mission as an isolated record.

Turn telemetry into operational advisories

Telemetry captures position, attitude, velocity, battery, and motor information. Anomaly models learn normal patterns for each system and use adaptive thresholds; incident classification covers events such as low battery, communication loss, GPS loss, and motor failure. Cross-operation trends help identify gradual degradation, while continuous monitoring supports maintenance schedules, replacement forecasts, and no-go advisories.
